We checked out Lakeside Nature Center one day for our morning adventure. It has lots of Missouri animals on exhibit and nature trails to hike...and it's free! Hannah hissed at the snakes and had fun crawling through one of the exhibits, but there weren't as many interactive things as she would have liked. Her favorite animal was the huge alligator snapping turtle. Then we went outside to walk on one of the trails. She got to feel flowers, a caterpillar, and of course, lots of rocks.
