Marissa was in town to see The Lion King with her friend Amy. She called to see if we wanted to meet up at Brush Creek by the Plaza. They were having WaterFire that night. It's an installation art piece with floating bonfires, music, and live performances. I was glad she called because I had no idea it was going on. After having huge parking issues, we finally made it. It was much more fun than our previous Saturday night plans of sitting on the couch and watching SNL. Amy even hooked us up with free food and drinks. So it was a good night in KC. Marissa has Steve talked into seeing The Lion King now!
